We provide comprehensive and sustainable support to young women from 14 to +18 years of age in foster homes. Our goal is to strengthen their resilience, facilitate their social integration and improve their life opportunities.
Brave Guatemala was founded in 2021 with the vision of creating a meaningful impact by supporting and empowering young women in foster homes, giving them the opportunity to flourish.
We are creating a sustainable impact on collective growth.
Over the initial two years, we’ve made a positive impact on over 30 girls and teenagers in foster homes across Guatemala through our Blossoming Journey “Ciclo Floreciente”, delivering more than 35 sessions of mental health support, technology education, and professional development
Every year, +2,000 young women are in foster homes in Guatemala, many of whom are orphaned, abandoned, or removed from their homes due to neglect, abuse, or trafficking.
